Terms and Conditions

Pricing:
Payment should be made via Bank Check or Postal Money Order. A personal check is acceptable but shipment of orders will be delayed until check clears.
Postage
Please add postage for all items. All uniforms shipped from Germany arrive via airmail, at additional cost (a cap runs approximately $5, while a uniform costs about $20).

All orders are shipped as soon as possible--usually within two weeks if the size requested is in stock (standard jacket sizes are 38, 40, 42, and 44). Custom uniform orders are typically shipped within one hundred twenty days.

Refunds/Returns:
Please clear all returns prior to mailing them back to us. We accept returns on most Non-Janke items (minus postage) within 5 days of receipt. There are no returns on special-order items, custom equipment, or items modified by the customer.
Sizing:
Please use the sizing sheet (listed below) when ordering Janke uniforms. Their garments are prepared to standard sizes (as were the originals), and the uniform components shipped will be those which most closely match your measurements. Take special care in recording your dimensions, because: Janke uniforms are not returnable.

Non-standard sizes (anything greater than a 44 chest) or unusual proportions require special patterning, including manufacture of a simplified garment of inexpensive cloth (for trial fitting purposes). This service, including crafting the special pattern and the trial garment, costs $111 per jacket and $74 per pair of trousers.

Special Orders:
Special equipment orders also require additional effort and expense. Most such custom manufactures (for example, belts larger than size 105, metric) cost 20% above the listed price. Other, wholly unlisted items may be ordered as well--with details and price to be determined.

Sizing Sheet

Please provide the following measurements, in inches. We will do the conversion to centimeters for you. Provide exact measurements. Do not "add a little extra here and there" or your uniform will not fit properly. Use a cloth measuring tape, not a metal tape measure. The tape should be snug, not tight.
